Bill 6610, a little-known and very recent addition to Washington State lawbooks, apparently gives a single person (the DSHS secretary) the sole ability to determine whether or not a person found not guilty by reason of insanity is too dangerous for a mental hospital, and remove that person to prison. The non-profit group, Disability Rights Washington, is challenging the bill.
